SJP's fashion line, Bitten

Add fashion designer to Sarah Jessica Parker's ever-expanding resume, which already includes actress, mother and perfumer.

The so-chic-you-can't-stand-it actress, who won a Fashion Icon Award from the Council of the Fashion Designers of America in 2004, unveiled her own clothing line, Bitten, yesterday at a private luncheon in New York for fashion editors.

According to an insider at the New York Post, Bitten will include jeans, lingerie, casual wear and accessories (in the $8-$15 price range) and will be sold to fashion chain Steve & Barry's for somewhere between $1 million and $5 million.

She said:

�Women should be able to wear great clothes and not lie in bed at night feeling guilty about how much money they�ve spent. High quality, luxurious clothes do not need to cost as much as we�ve been led to think.�

Can you expect anything less from the woman who launched a thousand (and then some) nameplate necklaces as Carrie Bradshaw?
