Victoria's jeans are not selling
The blogosphere has been buzzing with reports that Victoria Beckham’s dVb denim line is being dropped from several top retailers, including L.A.’s famous Fred Segal and Kitson boutiques.
Turns out that while the line isn’t dropped from Kitson, it’s definitely not performing up to expectation — and that’s being attributed to Posh’s laissez-faire attitude.
Kitson owner Fraser Ross tells People:
“She’s not supporting the line. It’s not good for her brand and not good for her endorsements. In a tough economy, you need to be in partnership with the people that are selling your line to your fans. That’s the bottom line.”
And it’s not like she’s not nearby. Ross says:
“Victoria lives fifteen minutes from the store. That’s just bad business.”
But, he hasn’t given up hope in reviving the line and is in talks with her people to prop up the ailing sales.
“We haven’t dumped it. Hopefully there will be some kind of resolution.”

Beckham in Sierra Leone with Unicef
David Beckham has appealed for the world not to turn a blind eye to "shocking" child mortality rates in developing nations as he returned from a visit to a poverty-stricken west African country.
The England midfielder said tens of thousands of young children were dying every day across the world, mostly from preventable conditions.
His remarks followed his visit as United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) goodwill ambassador to Sierra Leone, a country where more than a quarter of children die before their fifth birthday.
He said:
"We can't turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world mostly from causes that are preventable."
"In Sierra Leone, one in four children dies before reaching their fifth birthday - it's shocking and tragic especially when the solutions are simple - things like vaccinations against measles or using a mosquito net to reduce the chance of getting malaria.
"Saving these children's lives is a top priority for Unicef and as an ambassador I hope I can help to draw attention to this issue across the world."
The star, who is a father of three, arrived in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, on Friday, before travelling to Makeni, Bombali District, in the northern province of Sierra Leone, which has the highest number of under-five child deaths in the country.
During his four-day visit, he spent time at a health clinic learning about the most common causes of these deaths, such as malaria, diarrhoea, malnutrition and vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles and TB.
Unicef UK executive director David Bull said:
"We are grateful to David Beckham for shining the spotlight on the unacceptable number of young children who are dying often needlessly in Sierra Leone and other developing countries.
"Everyone can play a role in changing this situation governments, donors and the public."

Naomi wants to end her feud with Posh

Naomi Campbell wants to bury the hatchet and end her seven year feud with Victoria Beckham.
The 37-year-old fell out with skinny Posh after she called Naomi "a massive cow" on her TV show Victoria's Secrets.
She made the remarks after the Streatham-born supermodel asked, sarcastically, why she was called "Posh" spice.
Now Naomi plans to ask Victoria to take part in a catwalk show raising cash for UK flood victims.
The event Fashion for Relief will be held at the Natural History Museum at the end of London Fashion Week, on September 20.
Naomi has teamed up with the Rotary Club to organise the show.
Talking to London Lite about Posh, Naomi said:
"I will approach her because she is such a massive fashion personality.
"But with her living in LA, I'm not sure what her schedule permits. I would love her to join us."
Naomi has hijacked mates Yasmin Le Bon, Elle Macpherson, Jodie Kidd, Leah Wood and footballer Rio Ferdinand to take part.
Croydon-born pal Kate Moss will contribute as a designer, as she does not like doing the catwalk anymore, added Naomi.

Victoria Beckham snubs Paris Hilton
Victoria Beckham has reportedly turned down Paris Hilton's offer of friendship.
The Spice Girl has just moved to Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David but isn't interested in the hotel heiress' party invitation.
Paris is reported to have said about Victoria, "We could be soulmates." However, Victoria apparently told a friend, "Over my dead body!"
Sources claim Victoria - who counts Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez among her good friends - believes being associated with Paris could have negative consequences for her.
Victoria - also known as Posh Spice - is keen to establish herself as a major Hollywood player and doesn't want Paris, who recently served time in jail, to interfere with that.
Meanwhile, Victoria's American TV debut has been slated by critics.
The reality show, 'Victoria Beckham: Coming To America,' followed the singer as she prepared to move to Los Angeles after David signed with soccer team Los Angeles Galaxy.
It was aired in the US at the weekend but it failed to win over many reviewers.
Linda Stasi of the New York Post gave it "no stars" and labeled it "an orgy of self-indulgence," while The New York Times' Alessandra Stanley described her as a "rich idiotic It girl."

Posh is thrilled to be in LA

David and Victoria Beckham and their three sons will move to California in the summer when he begins his £1million-a-week job.
Despite his whopping pay packet Victoria can still be awed by Tinseltown. Opening her heart in her first big interview since hubby David's £128million LA Galaxy transfer deal, Victoria tells the Mirror how she is:
"I was at a party the other day when Tom Hanks came bounding over.
"He said, 'I'm so thrilled you and David are coming over. I'm going to get a season ticket to watch LA Galaxy now'."
"All the time he was talking I was just thinking, 'It's Forrest Gump! And he knows who I am!' "
"I don't know if I'll ever get used to that when we move here. I don't get out much, really. I'm usually with David and the boys."

The Beckhams TV show

David and Victoria Beckham have only been in LA for five minutes but they are already in talks to star in their own TV show.
They've been asked by Fox to make a flyon- the-wall series called Living With The Beckhams - like The Osbournes only with less swearing.
A source told People: "At the moment neither David nor Victoria are majorly famous in the States. But starring in their own show on one of America's biggest channels would catapult them to instant stardom.
"Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were watched by millions and bosses think a show on the Beckhams could be just as good." David, 31, and Victoria, 32, were in Being Victoria Beckham and The Real Beckhams, in the UK.

Romeo Beckham has epilepsy
News of the World has reported that Victoria Beckham has confessed that her son Romeo is battling epilepsy. Romeo, who turned four just five weeks ago, has been warned to avoid flashing lights known to cause potentially-fatal seizures.
The frightened youngster reacted violently after being photographed at Heathrow last Saturday as he returned to Britain from Madrid with Posh and brothers Brooklyn, seven, and Cruz, one.
Initially he shielded his eyes against the flashes as his mother pushed him through the terminal building in his buggy and out to a waiting car.
He then started screaming in terror and lashing out with his legs as one photographer pressed his camera inside the car and started flashing.
Only then did horrified Posh, 32, reveal the truth about brave Romeo's dangerous condition.
She pulled her blond-headed son to her, shielded him from the lights and yelled: "Leave him alone.
"He's got epilepsy. All that flashing will start an epileptic fit. You can't do that!"
Kevin Smith — owner of Splash news, the agency that took the shot —said: "No picture is worth putting a child's life in danger.
"Now that we know Romeo has epilepsy I will not be authorising any of my photographers to take flash pictures of him. I think this is absolutely the right thing to do and I hope other agencies follow suit."
The epilepsy is so serious that he's been rushed to the hospital four times in the last three years. He's being treated but even with the drugs, flash photography can still cause a seizure.

Victoria Beckham is 'massively stressed' as a mom
Victoria Beckham who has three sons, Romeo, seven, Brooklyn, four, and one-year-old Cruz with footballer husband David - claims she is "massively stressed as a mum" because her children take up most of her time. However, Victoria insists she always manages to find time to make sure she is dressed to impress when she goes out.
She is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying:
"You often feel like you have no time to yourself. Nowadays, I multitask. I plan outfits while I’ m doing something else - getting ready for bed or taking a bath. And there’s always the risk of baby sick down my front. Being a mother’s taught me not to waste time faffing about in the closet every morning. You learn how to get things done quicker, and often you do them just as well."

David Beckham to be dropped from Gillette

David Beckham could get the chop from Gillette as the worldwide face of the shaving brand.
The Real Madrid star's multi-million pound contract is up for renewal next year and according to advertising bible Marketing magazine he will be replaced by 'fresher-faced global stars'.
The news will come as a massive blow to Brand Beckham, as the former England captain went on a massive PR offensive this week in a bid to promote his new book.
Beckham's role with Gillette is likely to be reduced to promoting the shaving product in 'local markets', such as Spain and Britain.
Among the names rumoured to be replacing him is Chelsea and England star Ashley Cole, 25.
The 31-year-old footballer has been the face of Gillette since 2004, when he signed a £40m three-year deal but after a disappointing World Cup, followed by being dropped from the England team it has been suggested that his days as a global superstar are numbered.
However, in the meantime, he still has a £7.5 million contract with Motorola, £2 million contract Pepsi and an £80 million life time deal with Adidas to fall back on.
Commenting on the story, a Gillette spokesperson said: "Gillette has a great working partnership with David and he remains the global face of Gillette as well as an international sports and style icon."

That Extra Half An Inch of Beckham
Victoria Beckham has hit out at claims the title of her new book, That Extra Half An Inch, is a cheeky reference to her husband David's manhood.
Style icon Victoria is to give fashion tips in the book, but it's title aroused interest among female fans of her hunk soccer star spouse.
She says:
"Everyone asks me if the book's title is a reference to men's parts. It isn't at all, it's all about heel height, but in an interview the other day I turned to David and said, 'Yes it is about size'. It all counts doesn't it? He went so red, it was hilarious."

Fattening diet for Victoria
David Beckham has put his wife on a specific diet to "fatten her up".
Victoria Beckham is undertaking a carbohydrate-packed eating plan, in the hope of conceiving a fourth child.
The footballer has taken the advice of nutritional specialists after he became concerned at his wife's weight. They were told that menstruation can be affected by size, and Victoria's current frame could prevent her becoming pregnant again.
A source said: "David knows that Victoria struggles with her body image and thrives on being thin - but he is desperate to see her with a few more curves. David has pleaded with her in the past to put on weight, but now he's finally taken serious action and given her a diet plan to ensure that she fattens up."
'Victoria's agreed to go along with it because she and David are happier than ever at the moment and also because she is desperate to conceive. After having three sons, who they love dearly, both of them would absolutely love a little girl to dote on.'

Victoria and David are considering having sex standing up
Victoria and David Beckham are considering having sex standing up - to guarantee they have a baby girl.
David who has three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, with Victoria is reportedly so desperate for a little girl he's started researching ways to dictate a baby's sex.
"David is really keen for Victoria to have another baby. But he wants a girl. And when David wants something, he gets pretty obsessed.
"He's found out through talking to people that you have more chance of conceiving a girl if you do things like have sex standing up on certain days of the month.
"He's even checked out this website that claims to guarantee a couple having a baby girl, and there's a book called 'Determining The Sex Of Your Baby', which is all about whether you can plan to have a boy or a girl."
Victoria has even picked a name for a baby girl - Luna. She revealed: "I love the word Luna. I know it's a girl's name, so maybe for the next baby."
However, it is feared the former Spice Girl could be jeopardising her health if she has another baby. Women like Victoria, who have caesareans, are at greater risk of complications, and the risk is said to increase each time.
"Victoria knows all this, but she also knows how delighted David would be to have a daughter."
