Sarah Jessica Parker named unsexist woman of the year

sarahjessicaparkerwhitev.jpg

Charlize Theron, Jessica Alba and Halle Berry are regularly named the world's sexiest women. But who are the unsexiest women alive? A men's magazine decided to find out.

The list, published in the latest edition of Maxim Magazine, named Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker as the No. 1 Unsexiest Woman Alive.

The magazine said Parker was the "least sexy woman in a group of very unsexy women" that ironically starred in a show with the word "sex" in the title.

Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse was voted No. 2 because of her "hemorrhaging translucent skin, rat's nest mane and lashes that look more like surgically attached bats".

The mag listed Grey's Anatomy Sandra Oh at No. 3 for her "cold bedside manner and boyish figure".

Pop star Madonna took out the No. 4 spot for her "self-righteous bellyaching and rapid postnuptial deterioration".

"Combine a Paris Hilton-like pet accessorising fetish only for dirt-poor foreign babies with a mug that looks Euro-sealed to her skull, and you've got Willem Dafoe with hot flashes," Maxim Magazine said.

Britney Spears came in at No. 5 for "losing the ability to perform".

The mag also said two children, two ex-husbands and a slight weight gain also helped Britney nab the No. 5 spot.

Maxim Magazine's list of the world's unsexiest women:

1. Sarah Jessica Parker
2. Amy Winehouse
3. Sandra Oh
4. Madonna
5. Britney Spears

Lily Allen gets kicked from awards show

lilyallenmadonna.jpg

Lily Allen was kicked out of GQ magazine's Men of the Year awards for annoying Madonna with her drunken antics on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old singer was politely asked to leave the lavish ceremony at London's Royal Opera House after talking loudly throughout the pop superstar's speech before she presented the Inspiration Award to designer David Collins.

A source said, "Lily was being rude and loud, she was chatting all the way through and it was painfully obvious. At first nobody noticed but then it was evident what she was doing - even Madonna gave her a look."

Lily - who presented the Best Band prize to the Kaiser Chiefs - then embarrassed herself further by stumbling over her strapless red dress on the way to the toilet.

An insider revealed, "Lily tripped up and went flying near a table. Her PR told her they had to go and marched her out. She didn't even make it to the after-party."

But Lily wasn't willing to call it night, and decided to gatecrash the after-party for the premiere of Keira Knightley's latest film 'Atonement' at Claridge's Hotel.

Unfortunately for Lily, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie arrived at the hotel soon after.

A source said, "Madonna looked slightly disgusted and left shortly afterwards."

Lily's agent denied the star was ejected from the ceremony, saying the rumours were "totally untrue".

He added, "We left together in the car provided by GQ magazine."

Madonna shoots up on plane

madonnablackdress.jpg

Madonna shocked passengers on a recent transatlantic flight after witnesses claim she whipped out a needle and started injecting herself with vitamins, metro.co.uk reports.

Her startling energy boost came after sources say the queen of pop endured the seven hour journey without eating any food and drinking only bottled water.

A passenger on the flight said:

'Just before landing she brought out the phials of vitamins and injected herself.'

'Seven hours is a long time to go without eating. She was also very quiet and only spoke to the air staff to ask for water.'

The claims come on the eve of the super-fit mum's 49th birthday, which she will celebrate later this week.

Recently she has surprised fans in a string of paparazzi shots that show her arms looking extra muscular and veiny.

A spokeswoman for the songstress said she 'would not comment' on whether the star uses vitamin jabs.

Other celebrities who are rumoured to use the energy boosting shots include rehabbers Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.

Madonna urged Malawian to help themselves

madonnafamilymalawi1.jpg

Madonna danced with Malawian children on Thursday during a visit to an orphanage and urged them to "help themselves" instead of relying on her.

Wearing dark glasses and clutching the one-year-old Malawian boy she is adopting, the singer toured the $120,000 facility that is home to 4,000 orphans and which she helped to fund.

Surrounded by children, she jived to Malawian music accompanied by pounding traditional drums as staff and villagers sang "Madonna thank you for coming".

"This is a partnership, it's not (for) me to do everything but we need to work together and you have to help yourselves," Madonna told orphans, adults from the local village and orphanage staff.

HIV/AIDS has killed millions in Malawi, leaving more than a million orphans.

Raising Malawi, a charity co-founded by Madonna, provides food, education and health services to 32,000 orphans in the southern African country through seven community-based organizations.

This is Madonna's second visit to Malawi six months after she and her film director husband Guy Ritchie signed interim adoption papers for custody of local toddler David Banda.

Madonna returns to Malawi with David Banda

madonnamalawibanda1.JPG

Madonna today landed in Malawi with the 18-month-old boy she is adopting, amid rumours that she plans to adopt a second orphan from the impoverished southern African country.

As the British-based American singer landed at Lilongwe's airport, her spokeswoman claimed she was only in the country to continue her long-standing charity work, which involves constructing a number of orphanages.

She would not confirm reports that the superstar had planned to take David Banda, her adopted child, to see his real father, Yohane, and denied that she was planning to finalise any further adoptions.

Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, adopted the one-year-old six months ago from an orphanage in the country.

As the singer touched down in a private jet, two vehicles were dispatched to the airport in an attempt to block the view of her and her entourage exiting the plane. Madonna, wearing dark glasses and a black outfit, was still spotted by journalists walking down the steps of the plane and carrying Banda in her arms.

Madonna's son learns to skateboard

madonnadavidbanda1.jpg

madonnadavidbanda2.jpg

Madonna's adopted son, 17 month old, David Banda was seen taking a ride with his nanny.

A friend of the family said: "Skateboard rides are David's latest trick.

"He is also already allowed to sit on a pony - obviously being steadied and not on his own. Madonna is keen to get him riding and even playing polo when he is old enough.

"She is very much into getting the kids out into the open air and getting them involved with animals.

"A good day out would be for them all to have a picnic out in the grounds of Ashcombe (their £9million country house in Wiltshire).

"David is a happy little boy and gets on famously with the other two."

Madonna's ex is annoyed by their daughter's British accent

madonnaexcarlosleon.jpg

Carlos Leon, the father of Madonna’s eldest child Lourdes, is reportedly angered that his daughter is now speaking with a British accent.

10 year old Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon was born in the US but has lived in London since she was three after mum Madonna married Guy Ritchie.

A source told the New York Daily News that Carlos was annoyed to hear that Lourdes had “a full-on British accent” at the recent UK premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles.

Madonna’s spokesperson Liz Rosenberg insists the reports are exaggerated but:

“It wouldn’t be surprising if Madonna’s daughter has some sort of English accent, since she lives in London most of the time. To me, she always sounds a little American and a little British. All this seems perfectly normal to me.”

“What I can tell you, she’s a natural beauty - no surprise there. She’s frankly a very unspoiled and lovely child, and for that I give credit to Madonna, Guy and Carlos.”

Madonna sees marriage counsellor

madonnaguyrichie.jpg

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly been seeing a marriage counsellor in a desperate bid to save their six-year union.

The 'Hung Up' singer and her film director husband have allegedly been seeing top marital therapist Tricia Barnes after their relationship hit "rock bottom", following the couple's controversial adoption of a Malawi baby.

A source told Britain's People newspaper:

"The marriage is near rock-bottom. They've been putting on a united front in public but behind closed doors their marriage has come under strain. The publicity surrounding the adoption has created a difficult atmosphere in their home. After a heart-to-heart they decided to seek the help of a marriage guidance specialist."

"Madonna and Guy both dote on little David but it is her attitude that can irritate and upset Guy. She drove the whole adoption process from start to finish and Guy was left trailing in her slipstream just nodding and going along with things."

Guy and Madonna's relationship - which has previously been rocked by the singer's busy work schedule and her fascination with the Kabbalah - reportedly came under a new strain after Guy felt left out from the highly-publicised adoption battle for fourteen-month-old David Banda.

As well as David, the couple have two other children - six-year-old Rocco and Lourdes, ten, from Madonna's relationship with fitness trainer Carlos Leon.

Madonna Bruised by Paparazzi

madonnabruise.jpg

Singer Madonna was bruised on her cheek by a photographer at London's Heathrow Airport.

The incident took place over the weekend, and Madonna was carrying her adopted son, David, in her arms.

A source close to the singer told People magazine:

"She had the baby in her arms when it happened. When she landed in London, there was a lot of pushing and shoving. She was jostled around. She got hit in the paparazzi's commotion."

David, the 1-year-old she is in the process of adopting from Malawi, was not hurt in the scuffle. "Thank God the baby is OK."

Madonna was promoting her new children's book, "Too Good to Be True", last weekend in London.

Madonna slams Angelina Jolie

madonnafur.jpg

In a recent interview with Time magazine which will hit newsstands on Monday, Madonna seems to be taking an aim at Angeline Jolie.

When asked about the perception that she's "jumping on a bandwagon" by adopting an African orphan. The singer was reported to reply:

"Look, I could have joined the U.N. and become an ambassador and visited various countries and just kind of showed up and smiled and looked concerned. But that's not getting to the root of the problem – and by the way, neither is building orphan care centers and giving people food and medicine."

"I'm not interested in going in there like a dilettante and being an idiot and going 'Ok, I'm going to build 10 orphanages and I'll see you guys later!'"

"She bought a baby for God's sake"

sharonosbourne.jpg

Sharon Osbourne has something to say about Madonna adoption row, "She bought a baby for God's sake."

She told US radio host Howard Stern:

"It's like getting a Louis Vuitton handbag."

"It's a crock of s***. If she wants to help the kid she should have got the father a little trade going, a fruit stand or something like that and built him a mud hut."

"If the kid is sick then get him a doctor, what was the father supposed to do, he can't read or write."

"She should have left him in his own culture, that is what I say."

"Madonna should have given the money to an orphanage, got them a 24-hour paramedic. She bought a baby for God's sake."

A Message from Madonna

madonnaH.jpg

Madonna has written an open letter to the press to explain the reasons around her and Guy's adoption of baby David:

My husband and I began the adoption process many months prior to our trip to Malawi.

I did not wish to disclose my intentions to the world prior to the adoption happening as this is a private family matter.
After learning that there were over one million orphans in Malawi, it was my wish to open up our home and help one child escape an extreme life of hardship, poverty and in many cases death, as well as expand our family.
Nevertheless, we have gone about the adoption procedure according to the law like anyone else who adopts a child. Reports to the contrary are totally inaccurate.

The procedure includes an 18-month evaluation period after which time we hope to make this adoption permanent.
This was not a decision or commitment that my family or I take lightly.
I am overwhelmed and inspired by my trip to Malawi and hope that it helps bring attention to how much more the world needs to do to help the children of Africa.
My heartfelt thanks for all the good wishes I have received and I hope the press will allow my family some room for us to experience the joy we feel to have David home.

$3.6 million is just not enough for Madonna

madonnapink.jpg

Madonna has reportedly turned down $3.6 million to promote a new diet and sex pill.

The Material Girl declined an offer put to her by a UK firm to advertise the Slimnsexy tablet, which it is claimed aids weight loss while increasing libido. Company boss James Dixon tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "We thought it wasn't bad for 10 minutes' work. "But it was deemed too raunchy for her new lady-of-the-manor image. "It seems basques and crucifixions are OK but talking about her sex life isn't."
