Keith Urban cheated on Nicole Kidman
An American model says she was having an affair with Keith Urban while he was engaged to Australian actress Nicole Kidman and has spoken of the country star's drug habit.
Amanda Wyatt, a 23-year-old part-time model who met Urban at a bar, said they never used protection during their relationship which began in 2004 and continued until May this year — the month before Urban and Kidman married.
The pair was also seen being intimate in October this year, around the time when Urban checked himself into the Betty Ford rehabilitation clinic to treat his drug addiction.
"I'm sorry if I hurt Nicole but I just want to tell the truth and move on," Ms Wyatt told Britain's The Mail on Sunday.
"I hope that she finds happiness with him but Keith is a deeply troubled man."
"I hope for her sake that he sorts himself out. She deserves better."
Wyatt said she continued to see Urban regularly even after finding out of his burgeoning romance with Kidman in mid-2005.
"I guess I knew he was seeing her but he was also seeing me," Wyatt said.
"He wasn't married so I still held out hope that they were just having some kind of publicity relationship.
"You have to understand, Keith was a star and I was a nobody, but even by his standards Nicole was a superstar."
Wyatt says their sexual relationship lasted long after he began seeing Kidman.
"When we made love he never used protection," Wyatt said.
"He told me that he liked that I didn't pressurise him to get married or have babies.
"I sometimes wonder if he said the same thing to Nicole.
"I never wanted to trap him.
"I tried not to fall in love with him but we were together throughout the whole time he was dating Nicole and engaged to her, right through 2005 and to around May 2006.
"Whenever he was in town we'd see each other two or three times a week.
"We'd drink and party and make love and (were) constantly on drugs."
Wyatt said Urban had been misleading his own family about his substance abuse.
"He drank constantly — his favourite was Crown Royal Reserve whisky — and he did drugs. Ecstasy, cocaine, pot — you name it," Wyatt said.
"He told me he'd been in rehab for cocaine and when his mother was there from Australia she was very protective of him. She kept telling me it was okay for him to drink but begged me not to let him do cocaine again. I didn't dare tell her the truth — that he was still doing it.
"Looking back, I rarely saw him sober. He'd work during the day but the bourbon would be flowing and, at night, he'd take ecstasy and coke. We partied constantly."

Beyonce: I'm going to be eating for America over Christmas
Beyonce Knowles cannot wait for Christmas, because she gets to gorge on festive food.
The 'Irreplaceable' singer also blasted Hollywood's current trend for super-thin actresses, insisting Christmas food is too delicious to miss.
Beyonce told Britain's Daily Star:
"People are obsessed with skinny girls at the moment. I'm going to be eating for America over Christmas to get some more junk in my trunk. So raise a glass and toast for me, people."
The 25-year-old lost 13lbs in 10 days on a liquid-only diet for her role in Dreamgirls but admits she has been having a good time regaining the weight.
"OK, I lost a lot of weight for 'Dreamgirls'. But I sure am enjoying putting it all back on."
Beyoncé's gruelling diet, which saw her surviving on maple syrup mixed with water, lemon juice and cayenne pepper, sparked criticism from health experts.
The star, however, warned other women not to copy the extreme eating plan.
"In Dreamgirls, my character starts at 16 and then 20 years pass. Normally they'd change your make-up or your clothes but I wanted to go the extra mile. My nutritionist suggested the only way to do that was the fast. As soon as it was over I gained the weight back. I would never recommend it to anyone unless you are doing a movie."

Lindsay Lohan: I enjoy fatty foods but do not eat carbs or sugar.
Lindsay Lohan recently said she has a passion of fatty foods - seconds before admitting she doesn't eat carbs or sugar.
She told Britain's OK! magazine:
"I eat all types of things. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches."
"I like McDonald's and my favourite food is sushi, but I can't do any carbs or any sugar."
"Everyone goes through that phase where you're not comfortable in your own skin. Then you learn you have to be confident with yourself and that shows through the most," Lindsay Lohan said, busting the rumours that she might be battling eating disorder.
"You want to be sexy. It's OK not to like your body, but you'll grow into it and just accept it for what it is."

Wentworth Miller to spend holiday season in Australia
Wentworth Miller, the star of Prison Break, will be spending the holiday season in Australia.
Miller told AAP from the Dallas set of Prison Break:
"My youngest sister is living down in Australia."
"I thought I'd kill three birds with one stone and get down to Australia.
"I can spend some time with loved ones over the holidays, visit a place I've always wanted to visit and do a little press for the show."
"My sister just came back from Uluru with tales of kangaroos and the beauty of the area and she has a number of other day trips planned," Miller said.
"She and her friends have been very good about organising road trips and helping me explore what Australia has to offer.
"Half of my fascination with Australia is it seems to have the largest concentration of deadly creatures in and out of the water."
Miller, 34, who was born in England but has lived most of his life in the US, has had to deal with plenty of slippery characters in Prison Break, which has become an international hit.
Some of the show's biggest fans are inmates who watch Prison Break in jail.
"From what I've heard there are certain prisons where they are not allowed to watch the show because the prison is worried inmates may get the wrong idea," Miller said.
"But, in other prisons I hear inmates rearrange their work details so they can be in their cells to watch our show every week.
"I've also received a lot of requests for headshots from inmates which I understand will get them a pack of smokes or two on the black market."
The first season of the show was shot in and around Chicago, but the second season has moved to Dallas where the cast and crew have been battling nature.
Miller, while shooting in swamps and bushland, has become a victim of chiggers, a parasitic mite.
If Australians see Miller relaxing on a beach over Christmas, they should not be concerned if his legs look in bad shape.
Blame the chiggers.
"Chiggers are a bug that bites you and then burrows underneath your skin and stays there," Miller explained.
"There's no way of getting them out.
"You have to buy nail polish and cover the inflamed spot with a dab of the nail polish.
"That seals the pores of your skin, which denies the chiggers oxygen.
"They suffocate, die, eventually dissolve and disperse into your bloodstream.
"I have had about 20 of them up and down my legs.
"We were shooting out in the woods and I neglected to coat my ankles in sulphur which was the only thing that keeps them at bay.
"I went home looking like a pizza from the legs down."
Miller will also be attending a cocktail Sydney Harbour cruise on December 27 to celebrate Foxtel's new long term deal with the Hollywood studio that makes Prison Break, Rupert Murdoch's 20th Century Fox.

Britney gets a new tattoo
Britney Spears was spotted getting a tattoo at Devil Doll Studio tattoo parlor at 10 p.m. in Studio City, CA. She had a star inked on her right hand, X17 reports. Little sis, Jamie Lynn, 15, even came along and kept her company.
Spears, 25, already has a collection of tats which includes a fairy on her back, a pair of pink dice on her left forearm (to match the blue dice her ex Kevin Federline has on his right forearm), a Hebrew tattoo on the back of her neck, a butterfly and a vine winding down her right foot, and a Japanese symbol on her bikini line.

Angelina thinks it's a good idea to test prospective parents
Angelina Jolie insists adoptive parents are more fit to raise a child than biological parents, because their background and personality is thoroughly scrutinised to see if they're suitable for the challenge.
The actress was put through stringent tests before being granted permission to adopt Maddox, five, and Zahara, one. But when she gave birth to baby girl Shiloh Nouvel earlier this year, nobody investigated her suitability as a mother. She says:
"It should be hard to be a parent period. I go through many things to adopt. I'm finger-printed, I'm checked, I go through home studies. I have to prove I'm a decent citizen; a good human being. That didn't happen to me when I gave birth, so it's interesting that there's no background check when you bring a child into your home in that way.

Britney voted worst celebrity dog owner, Paris comes second
According to two dogs magazine, Britney Spears has the worst dog-parenting skills and Oprah Winfrey is the best celebrity dog owner.
"Britney was the overwhelming choice" for worst celebrity dog owner for 2006, Hilary O'Hagan, editor of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog magazines, said in a statement.
"She once had three Chihuahuas ... and never left home without at least one of them on her arm," O'Hagan said. "As soon as she met K-Fed and had kids they (the dogs) disappeared."
Paris Hilton, 2005's "worst" winner, placed second for "treating her dogs like accessories," the magazines said.
Winfrey, who owns five dogs, was voted this year's best celebrity dog owner. The talk-show host replaced 2005 winner Joss Stone, and beat off competition from Tori Spelling, Nicollette Sheridan and Beth Ostrosky, Howard Stern's girlfriend.
Voting took place online over a three-month period. Results weren't scientifically representative of the magazines' readers, and the total number of votes won't be released, O'Hagan said Monday.

Christina wears red lipstick for a reason
Christina Aguilera has finally given the answer to one of her life's greatest mysteries! In the January issue of Glamour magazine, the singer reveals the reason behind wearing her trademark red lipstick.
Regardless of where she is going, Christina never leaves home without that red look. So, when asked if she is obsessed with wearing those ruby lips, she said:
"The red lips are - I don't want to call them "armor," but they're the clothes of my character, and I'm in the business of entertainment...."
While answering if she would feel exposed without her make-up she answered,
"Yeah - there's a witch under this hair [she says laughing]. Would I feel exposed? Yes, in a certain way. I don't see makeup as a defense. I see it as a creative outlet. I am a woman who has my extreme vulnerable side and my baggage - and at times I feel extremely weak".
"And who's to say a little mascara doesn't make you feel more confident when you pop it on and look in the mirror? It helps, especially in my position, where I have people waiting down the street to take pictures of me so they can evaluate and criticize every little flaw on my face. Rosie O'Donnell apologize for Asian joke
Rosie O'Donnell made a formal, on-camera apology on The View on Thursday for her an Asian joke she made on Dec 5.
"This apparently was very offensive to a lot of Asian people. So I asked Judy, who's Asian and works here in our hair and makeup department. I said, 'Was it offensive to you?' And she said, 'Well, kinda. When I was a kid people did tease me by saying ching-chong.'
"So apparently 'ching-chong,' unbeknownst to me, is a very offensive way to make fun, quote-unquote, or mock, Asian accents. Some people have told me it's as bad as the n-word. I was like, really? I didn't know that."
O'Donnell said that her joke was "never intended to hurt anyone, and I'm sorry for those people who felt hurt or were teased on the playground," but added that in the future, "there's a good chance that I'll do something like that again ... Not on purpose."
The controversy began when O'Donnell commented on a visit to the ABC morning show by a seemingly inebriated Danny DeVito, saying, "The fact is that it's news all over the world. That you know, you can imagine in China it's like: 'Ching chong. Danny DeVito, ching chong, chong, chong, chong. Drunk. The View. Ching chong.' "
The joke outraged many, including the group UNITY: Journalists of Color, which represents more than 10,000 journalists, and New York City councilman John C. Liu, who sent a letter to View executive producer Barbara Walters, demanding an apology.

Christina Aguilera tricked into wearing fur
Anti-fur advocate Christina Aguilera is furious with designer Roberto Cavalli after he tricked her into wearing real fur onstage, Starpulse reports. The Italian couturier is designing all the outfits for the singer's current world tour, and was reportedly instructed by Aguilera not to include any real animal fur.
But Cavalli admitted to magazine Women's Wear Daily he sent her a stole made from real white fox fur, which she subsequently slipped on to perform gigs in Europe.
Aguilera was tipped off by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) vice president Dan Mathews, who sent her an email with a link to a video showing foxes getting killed by anal electrocution for their fur.
The singer quickly replied, saying she was "very upset" insisting she "only ever wears fake fur". She has now replaced the stole for a fake fur version, in time for gigs in Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic this month.

Actor Peter 'Frank Barone' Boyle Dies
Veteran actor Peter Boyle, who played the crabby father of Ray Romano on the CBS comedy "Everbody Loves Raymond," died Tuesday night in New York.
Boyle was born Oct. 18, 1935, in Philadelphia. He left a calling as a Christian monk in the 1950s to become an actor, and in 1970, he won acclaim playing an intolerant factory worker in the movie "Joe."
In 1974, Boyle joined Mel Brooks to star as the famous monster in "Young Frankenstein." Boyle reportedly was in full monster make-up for the film when he met his future wife, Rolling Stone reporter Loraine Alterman Boyle.
The veteran character actor died Tuesday evening in New York after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease

Tickets for Diana's concert sold out
Tickets for a pop concert to mark the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death sold out in minutes on Wednesday, Yahoo! News reports.
The concert, organized by Diana's sons Princes Harry and William, will take place at the new Wembley stadium in London next July and feature acts including
Elton John, Duran Duran and Pharrell Williams.
"The initial allocation of tickets has now been sold and we hope more tickets will be available at a later date," said a spokeswoman for the princes.
She added that around 22,500 tickets were sold in 20 minutes on Wednesday, and that the capacity for the event was likely to be about 60,000. More tickets may go on sale at a later date via the concert's Web site www.concertfordiana.com.
The face value of tickets is 45 pounds ($89) each, although they attracted bids of up to 500 pounds each on the online auction site www.ebay.co.uk early on Wednesday.
EBay, which has been criticized in the past when tickets to charity concerts have appeared on its site, later promised to remove them as soon as possible "as a mark of respect for the memory of the late Diana."
There is speculation that John may repeat his performance of the modified version of "Candle In the Wind" which he sang at Diana's funeral in 1997. He had vowed he would never play it again unless asked by the princes.
As well as the concert, there will be a church memorial service for Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Jennifer Lopez to adopt Puerto Rican baby
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, who married in 2004, are planning to adopt a baby from Puerto Rico.
A source told contactmusic.com:
"Jen and Marc are dying to have kids but it just doesn't seem to be working for them.
"Jen realises she's not getting any younger, so they've jointly decided that adoption may be the answer to their prayers."
The source added that the couple have had "some very serious conversations about it" and have decided to look for children from Puerto Rico as both their parents are from the country.

Kate Winslet told The Independent that she refused to have any magazines showing skinny stars in her house because of the damaging effect it could have on her six-year-old daughter, Mia.
"It's only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it and it frightens the life out of me."

Jessica Simpson is starving herself
Jessica Simpson is apparently starving herself to stay skinny for her new movie.
The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ actress is currently filming ‘Blonde Ambition’ with Luke Wilson in Louisiana but is not taking advantage of the delicious local cuisine as she is paranoid about gaining weight.
During a break from shooting last week, Jessica visited Chili’s restaurant with friends, but barely ate anything.
One fellow diner revealed to Life and Style Weekly magazine: “She ordered Caribbean chicken salad but she only ate the chicken in it. She left everything else.”
A few days later, homemade gumbo - a type of stew - was served on the film set but Jessica refrained from tucking in.
A source on set revealed: “Luke said, ‘This is the best thing ever’. He had his whole face in it! But Jessica didn’t touch it.
“She’s not really eating while she’s working because she’s trying to stay slim.”

Brangelina's trip to Fallingwater
Angeline Jolie has given Brad Pitt a gift of trip down Fallingwater for his birthday, The Pittsburgh Channel reports.
The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater got quite a surprise Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate.
According to a spokesman for Fallingwater, Pitt and Jolie arrived just before 3 p.m. for the tour.
Fallingwater's curator of education Cara Armstrong said:
"Brad said he had wanted to experience Fallingwater ever since he took an architectural history course in college. He and I talked quite a bit about design and art. He was incredibly well-informed about architecture."
"Brad said he had a visual sense of Fallingwater but experiencing it in person, hearing the sound of the waterfall cascading under the house and smelling the wood from the fireplace was better than anything he could have imagined."
After the tour, Jolie had arranged to have champagne and caviar sent in, which the couple shared in a private birthday celebration in Fallingwater's living room. Afterward, they invited the staff to join them and encouraged them to take the "snacks" home.
Arrangements for the visit began about a week before Thanksgiving when staff at Fallingwater received a call from Jolie's personal assistant in Asia.

Britney caught with drugs
Britney Spears who has been in the media all week is now allegedly a drug user.
One source tells In Touch Weekly that Spears paid a visit to the restroom of a Hollywood restaurant, where the pop star plopped her pursed down on the counter and in front of several witnesses and opened her bag to reveal a bounty of pills inside.
"It looked like a pharmacy in there - I have never seen so many pills." the witness said.
"There was a bottle of Paxil (an antidepressant) and a bottle of Xanax (for anxiety) that she took out and put on the counter."
Britney revealed on her official website that she has not celebrated her birthday in 2 years. She writes:
"It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. It's also been 2 yars since I've even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a bit too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria Secrets' new underwear line! I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me."

Paris Hilton wants kids soon
Party girl Paris Hilton says she wants to have children soon, The Scoop reports.
The partying heiress says that hanging around with her new best friend, Britney Spears, and Spears' two kids has made her want to reproduce.
“It’s been my dream to have four babies by 30,” the 25-year-old heiress announced. And Hilton thinks she’s highly qualified for motherhood, explaining: “I look after animals, so I’d have a lot to give my kids.”
In fact, looking after kiddies has become so appealing to Hilton that she recently cut short a night out with Spears, announcing to friends, “We’re going home to the babies. We miss them.”

Britney spotted with Brandon Davis
Britney Spears and alleged new boyfriend Brandon Davis were spotted disappearing into the toilets together at an exclusive Los Angeles nightspot.
The pair were seen at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel and couldn't even be parted when visiting the restroom.
A source told the New York Post Newspaper: "Britney and Brandon were getting along really well. They even went to the bathroom together."
The two 25-year-olds were first seen on a dinner date together in Los Angeles last Thursday. Oil heir Brandon was close friends with Britney's new best friend Paris Hilton. However, Paris and Brandon are no longer on speaking terms after their friendship and rumoured romance came to a bitter end earlier this year.
Brandon recently branded Paris a racist, saying she was forever referring to black people as "n*****s". He told PR Inside: "She is a racist, plus an idiot. I don't want anything to do with her. I don't need anything from her. She is no longer my friend. She is just not a nice person." Brandon has also attacked Lindsay Lohan labelling her 'firecrotch' and adding that she "smelled of diarrhoea".
Britney was joined by Paris at her 25th birthday celebrations on Saturday night.

Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson split
Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson who plays Seth and Summer respectively in FOX's hot series The O.C has decided to call it quits.
A source told Life & Style that "they’ve been done for a few weeks. They are just done. That’s all there is to it. There’s no drama. They just ended it.”
That may explain why Adam showed up solo to a party on Nov. 28 for the U.S. premiere of Volkswagen’s concept car Tiguan in Los Angelas.
"He was definitely acting like a single guy," the source added.
According to nightlife insiders in LA, he’s been spending a lot of time without Rachel at the clubs with his guy friends.

Daniel Craig wants a gay love scene in the next Bond movie
Daniel Craig is urging movie bosses to revolutionise the James Bond franchise by including a gay scene involving the superspy in the follow-up to Casino Royale.
The heart-throb actor has also reportedly told studio chiefs he is prepared to film a full frontal nude scene to please both his male and female admirers.
He says: "Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it.
"I mean, look at Doctor Who - that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye."

Madonna sees marriage counsellor
Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly been seeing a marriage counsellor in a desperate bid to save their six-year union.
The 'Hung Up' singer and her film director husband have allegedly been seeing top marital therapist Tricia Barnes after their relationship hit "rock bottom", following the couple's controversial adoption of a Malawi baby.
A source told Britain's People newspaper:
"The marriage is near rock-bottom. They've been putting on a united front in public but behind closed doors their marriage has come under strain. The publicity surrounding the adoption has created a difficult atmosphere in their home. After a heart-to-heart they decided to seek the help of a marriage guidance specialist."
"Madonna and Guy both dote on little David but it is her attitude that can irritate and upset Guy. She drove the whole adoption process from start to finish and Guy was left trailing in her slipstream just nodding and going along with things."
Guy and Madonna's relationship - which has previously been rocked by the singer's busy work schedule and her fascination with the Kabbalah - reportedly came under a new strain after Guy felt left out from the highly-publicised adoption battle for fourteen-month-old David Banda.
As well as David, the couple have two other children - six-year-old Rocco and Lourdes, ten, from Madonna's relationship with fitness trainer Carlos Leon.

Paris: Nicole and I are friends forever
Paris Hilton has put her feud with Nicole Richie behind her, saying they are "friends forever now."
The childhood pals mysteriously fell out in January 2005 after a life-long friendship, but they made up after holding a reconciliation dinner in Los Angeles in October, and Hilton insists their reunion is permanent.
"We've been friends for 23 years of our lives and when you've known someone that long she's like a sister. I'm really happy to have her back in my life. I love her to death! We're definitely friends forever now." "She's amazing. Nicole has a great personality, she's beautiful and sweet, and she's fun to hang out with. She's hysterical - she can make me laugh so hard!"

Gwyneth Paltrow prefers British lifestyle
Oscar-winning US actress Gwyneth Paltrow feels dinner talk is far more interesting in her adopted homeland Britain than back in her native country.
Last Saturday she told "NS," the weekend magazine supplement of daily Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias:
"I love the English lifestyle, it's not as capitalistic as America. People don't talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner,"
"I like living here because I don't fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans," the 34-year-old added.
She said having US pop star Madonna, 48, who married British film director Guy Ritchie six years ago, nearby was another advantage to living in London.
"She's like an older sister. Everything I have gone through, she went through ten times worse and ten times longer. She gives me good advice about how to say no and take care of myself," said Paltrow.
Paltrow, who won a best actress Oscar for 1998's "Shakespeare in Love," lives in London with British band Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin whom she wed in 2003.

Tom Cruise to release a record
Tom Cruise is to release a record with new wife Katie Holmes.
The actor has reportedly decided to release a rendition of ‘You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling’ with Katie after serenading his new wife with the tune at their wedding reception.
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper:
“Tom’s got a great voice. And he loves that song ever since his ‘Top Gun’ character Maverick sang it to woo his love interest Kelly McGillis. Katie proved how talented she is musically when she performed in ‘The Singing Detective’ remake.”
Tom’s vocal talents did not go unnoticed by several music producers who attended his wedding, and the couple have apparently been offered staggering sums to sign an exclusive record deal.
The only hurdle in the way of their chart success, however, is said to be Tom’s obsession with Scientology.
“Music chiefs know it would be a massive hit so they don’t want to lose all the money to a bizarre religious following. And record labels are reluctant to be associated with the strange faith. However, Tom is adamant. He said the song is a symbol of their love and Scientology is a basis for their companionship.”
