Dustin Diamond explains sex tape

Taken off a press release from the Headline News program "Showbiz Tonight," former teen TV star Dustin Diamond of Saved By The Bell explains himself.
Here's what the release said:
"The sex tape got out because Diamond and some buddies have a "monthly gathering" wherein they exchange such tapes which earn points based on "what [we're] able to accomplish" on the tapes: "We do it almost like poker. [The tape] could have been left out in anybody's home, machine, computer."
"The people that are involved in this group [of friends who exchange tapes] are all 'profile people.'" Diamond doesn't believe any of those people leaked the tape, but perhaps a significant other of one of them did.
Diamond admits the tape has "caused turmoil on the home front."
"We've been doing it for a while, and we didn't think it was a problem. Apparently, it is a problem."
Diamond's words for David Hans Schmidt, the man peddling the tape (also known as the "Sultan of Sleaze"): "You're a scumbag." Diamond also says he will fight this "tooth and nail" to fight the distribution of the tape, and that while Schmidt may have won "the little battles, he won't win the war -- nice try, though!"
Diamond denies the rumor that he secretly knew about the tape's release and was hoping it would boost his career. He says the tape was "private" and not meant for anybody else. It was not released with his approval and he does not condone its being out there. Will Diamond eventually cash in on this tape, if offered a distribution deal? "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Why Angelina Jolie is still way hotter than Jennifer Aniston

Back in April, it was announced the Angelina Jolie and pseudo-hubby Brad Pitt were attached to star in and produce an adaptation of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.
Now Jolie has officially signed on to star in the film for Lionsgate. No word on Pitt's involvement in the film. Jolie has long wanted to play the protagonist Dagny Taggert in a film adaptation and quickly sparked to the project when producers Howard and Karen Baldwin set up the new version at Lionsgate.
Jolie has The Good Shepherd, with Matt Damon, due later this year and a role as Grendel's mother in Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf. She recently signed on to voice a character in the DreamWorks animated film Kung Fu Panda with Jack Black. No word on when production might begin on Atlas, which would be an unusually large production for Lionsgate's usual indie fare.

Lindsay Lohan denies break-up reports

Lindsay Lohan has denied reports claiming that lover Harry Morton has dumped her.
Tabloid rumours suggested that Morton ditched the Mean Girls actress after deciding that she was "too much drama" and growing tired of her constant partying. There were also claims that Lohan was spotted in tears after meeting with Morton at a hotel on Thursday night.
However a representative for Lindsay told Entertainment Tonight that the reports are "not true". The pair have been dating since July.

David Beckham to be dropped from Gillette

David Beckham could get the chop from Gillette as the worldwide face of the shaving brand.
The Real Madrid star's multi-million pound contract is up for renewal next year and according to advertising bible Marketing magazine he will be replaced by 'fresher-faced global stars'.
The news will come as a massive blow to Brand Beckham, as the former England captain went on a massive PR offensive this week in a bid to promote his new book.
Beckham's role with Gillette is likely to be reduced to promoting the shaving product in 'local markets', such as Spain and Britain.
Among the names rumoured to be replacing him is Chelsea and England star Ashley Cole, 25.
The 31-year-old footballer has been the face of Gillette since 2004, when he signed a £40m three-year deal but after a disappointing World Cup, followed by being dropped from the England team it has been suggested that his days as a global superstar are numbered.
However, in the meantime, he still has a £7.5 million contract with Motorola, £2 million contract Pepsi and an £80 million life time deal with Adidas to fall back on.
Commenting on the story, a Gillette spokesperson said: "Gillette has a great working partnership with David and he remains the global face of Gillette as well as an international sports and style icon."

Jolie, Pitt give $2 million to humanitarian groups

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are giving gifts of $1 million each to two humanitarian organizations, an adviser to the couple said Wednesday.
The recipients are Global Action for Children and Medecins sans Frontieres/
Doctors Without Borders.
"In the most troubled parts of the world — places that much of the world has abandoned — MSF is always there," said Jolie in a statement issued by Trevor Neilson, the couple's philanthropic and political adviser. "I have seen these brave men and women working in war zones and horrific conditions and I deeply admire them."
Jennifer Delaney, U.S. director for Global Action for Children, expressed her thanks for the gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
"Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more important, are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and conflict or whose parents are sick and dying," she said.

Brad Pitt to star in M:I IV
Brad Pitt is reportedly being lined up to replace Tom Cruise in 'Mission: Impossible IV'.
Tom was recently dropped by Paramount Studios dropped because of his "unacceptable conduct" in public and the lacklustre box office takings of the third film in the franchise.
Now it seems bosses are set to turn to Brad to rescue the ailing franchise.
One industry insider told Britain's London Light newspaper:
"'Mission: Impossible IV' will not include Tom's character, agent Ethan Hunt.
"They're considering a brief mention, saying Hunt retired to live a safe life with his new wife.
"They're set on Brad taking over as a gutsy new head operative who puts together his own unique team of specialists."
Studios bosses are allegedly considering offering Brad over £21 million to sign up for the fourth film, the single biggest fee ever paid to an actor for one film.
The actor is no stranger to the genre having already had big screen success in a number of action movies, including 'Mrs and Mrs Smith' and 'Spy Game' opposite Robert Redford.
Brad - who has two adopted children, Maddox, five, and 18-month-old Zahara, and one biological daughter, four-month-old Shiloh Nouvel, with partner Angelina Jolie - is currently filming the latest addition in another successful franchise, 'Ocean's Thirteen', in Los Angeles.

Teri Hatcher's nipples are digitally reduced
Teri Hatcher is furious with Desperate Housewives bosses, because they keep digitally reducing the size of her nipples.
The brunette beauty’s excitable nipples mean producers have to spend thousands on computer wizardry to clean up the sexy shots.
However, Teri insists other TV shows would allow her to flaunt her best assets.
She said:
"The whole first season, thousands of dollars were spent digitally erasing my nipples.
"I think Grey’s Anatomy gets to have nipples and I have a little beef to have with the network about that.
"Then again, they are on at 10 o’clock – 10 o’clock, you can have nipples, 9 o’clock, no nipples."

Orlando Bloom buys his first computer

Pirates Of The Caribbean star Orlando Bloom finally bought his first computer on Monday after years of trying to avoid technology.
The 29-year-old star feared the computer would be a burden to him and that he would be stuck for hours on end dealing with endless emails.
He tells US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel:
"I just never wanted to buy into it.
"To be honest, the thought of sitting down in front of a computer at the end of the day and answer a million emails or just deal with it.
"And then it goes wrong, or you lose it, and then it sort of becomes this thing, you've got your music, your movies, your life on it and then you lose it and then what do you do when you lose it?
"I mean, I'd rather just have it all in my head. If people need to get hold of me, they can get hold of me."
"What I'm going to try and do is limit the number of people that have access to it so that I only have to answer my mom and my sister and I can see pictures.
"Apparently I'm on (social networking website) MySpace, there's somebody acting like me on MySpace. Good on him, I hope he's getting something from that!"

Lonelygirl15 is a hoax

The team behind the lonelygirl15 YouTube mystery has come forward, claiming that lonelygirl15 is part of their "show" and thanking their fans effusively for tuning in to "the birth of a new art form." They are not, they insisted, "a big corporation."
After amateur sleuths uncovered apparent links between the Creative Artists Agency and the official lonelygirl15 MySpace page, a statement claiming to be from "The Creators" was posted on the lonelygirl15 website late Thursday. It read in part:
"Our intention from the outset has been to tell a story — A story that could only be told using the medium of video blogs and the distribution power of the Internet. A story that is interactive and constantly evolving with the audience."
The statement sidestepped the issue of lonelygirl15's real identity, saying cryptically, "Right now, the biggest mystery of Lonelygirl15 is 'who is she?' We think this is an oversimplification. Lonelygirl15 is a reflection of everyone."
The statement's authors wrote that they are "in the process of building a website centered around video and interactivity."
Along with her friend "Daniel," lonelygirl15 appears in a series of video blogs, confessional screeds spoken into a video camera and posted on websites such as YouTube. Since June, viewers have questioned whether the videos really depicted a home-schooled, shy girl named "Bree, or whether they were part of some larger project or promotional scheme.

That Extra Half An Inch of Beckham
Victoria Beckham has hit out at claims the title of her new book, That Extra Half An Inch, is a cheeky reference to her husband David's manhood.
Style icon Victoria is to give fashion tips in the book, but it's title aroused interest among female fans of her hunk soccer star spouse.
She says:
"Everyone asks me if the book's title is a reference to men's parts. It isn't at all, it's all about heel height, but in an interview the other day I turned to David and said, 'Yes it is about size'. It all counts doesn't it? He went so red, it was hilarious."

Jonathan Rhys Meyers thinks soap operas are career damaging

Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers is baffled by Sir Ian McKellen's decision to appear in British soap opera Coronation Street, because he's convinced taking a guest role in a TV series would be "damaging" to his glittering career. The Mission: Impossible star believes a role on the small screen is not a "proper job", and would never take up such an opportunity. He says:
"I'll watch Footballer's Wives though I'd never consider a role on it as it would be very career-damaging. "People would think, 'Why the f**k are you doing that? Can't you get a proper job?'"

Doherty kicked out of flat
Troubled rocker Pete Doherty is being evicted from his wrecked London flat after building up more than GBP10,000 ($18,000) in rent arrears.
The Babyshambles frontman, who is currently in rehab being treated for his addictions to hard drugs, has left his landlord shocked at how much damage he has caused to the GBP350,000 ($630,000) property in Hackney.
Doherty has reportedly not paid any rent since January, while the floor is littered with syringes and broken glass.
Landlord Andreas Panayiotou says:
"As well as not paying his rent, there's both graffiti and blood on the wall, and goodness knows what else.
"We have never known anyone like him. (Doherty) is the worst tenant in my company's entire history."
A local resident adds, "The front door was nearly always boarded up and covered in graffiti. Then there were the groupies hanging around on the doorstep and his junkie pals banging on his door at all hours and the endless, headbanging racket.
"We are glad he's going."
