Nicole Richie's Photo Scandal
Nicole Richie has been rocked by a nude photo scandal, with X-rated photographs of the socialite and her celebrity friends set to be leaked on to the Web.
Nicole is scared stiff raunchy shots of her will be circulated after she lost her camera at nightspot Guy’s in LA recently.
“Nicole had been experimenting and had a memory card full of sexy nude photos of her and a lot of friends,” says a source. “They’d be embarrassed if they got out.”
Nicole was partying with pals – including Lindsay Lohan and ex-boyfriend Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM – at a karaoke night at the West Hollywood hot spot when she lost the camera containing the saucy shots.
“They were having fun and then suddenly she’s freaking out after she realises the camera’s gone,” says a source.
Realising what could happen if it landed in the wrong lap, Nicole panicked.
“Immediately, she’s demanding the bar staff shut off the karaoke, turn on the lights and get everyone to search for the camera,” says one source.
“It was pretty funny,” adds another. “Here are all these A-listers – and their bags are getting searched. Nicole was in the corner going totally nuts and losing it.”
However, despite a massive hunt forthe camera, it was never found.
“There’s the niggling worry that if the camera does get into the wrong hands and the photos turn up all over the place, Nicole will be in real trouble,” says a source.

Hilary denies virginity quotes
Elle magazine recently printed a Hilary Duff story in which they claim the 20-year-old actress/singer said she is a virgin. MuchNews spoke with Hilary yesterday, and she had this to say about the eyebrow-raising quote: "The thing is that I didn't say that. I wouldn't say that. I don't know how [the writer] got that out of what I said." Duff went on to say that the subject is "definitely not something that I would talk about or that I would want people to focus on. Or that I even think it's appropriate to talk about. Whose business is that?"

Pamela and Kid Rock to wed numerous times
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock became engaged in the Las Vegas desert in April 2002 but never set a wedding date. They broke up the following year. Now, Pamela has confirmed that she and Kid Rock will wed numerous times. In France. And California. And Michigan. And Tennessee.
"I'm going to get married a few times this month to the same guy," said the 39-year-old actress, who wore a white veil pulled-back from her face during a news conference about her new online poker site, PamelaPoker.com.
She said her nuptials to the rocker, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, will take place near St. Tropez, France. They are reportedly planned for Saturday.
"If Bob knew he was getting married five years ago in St. Tropez, he wouldn't have believed it," Anderson said.
The former "Baywatch" star said the celebrations will also take her across the United States after the first ceremony.
"We had to do Malibu, we've got to do Detroit, and we've got to do Nashville," she said.

Brandon Routh is more concerned with his make-up than saving the world
Superman Returns star Brandon Routh was left furious this week after he complained the make-up used on his face at a press conference made him look pale, artificial and 'a bit wimpy'.
The actor became annoyed when he saw pictures of himself posing up next to his Lois Lane, Kate Bosworth, who, he said, looked much more natural and sunkissed.
After the Superman Returns press conference at London's Dorchester Hotel on Wednesday afternoon, Routh's aides had new darker foundation flown in for him to use in time for last night's premiere in Leicester Square.
"To say that Brandon was livid with his make-up is an understatement," said an aide.
"The problem arose when he posed for photographs beside his co-star Kate Bosworth - who has a fantastic tan - and he realised that he looked pale and artificial in comparison.
"Basically there was a problem with the shade of his tinted moisturiser - it was slightly lighter than his natural skin tone - so he asked for an expensive fake tan moisturiser to be used instead.
"A waterproof, gradual build one which develops over time was eventually found and has given him a natural, all-over golden glow.
"This is Brandon's first major movie premiere and in front of thousands of screaming fans, it is understandable that he wanted to look like a tanned, Adonis of a superhero and not a pale-skinned wimp."

Eminem accussed of assault

Eminem had reportedly punched a man in the face early Thursday in the men's room at a local strip club, Cheetah.
Miad J. says he was in the men’s room, using a urinal next to Eminem, when another man entered the men’s room and started to talk to the rapper.
He says one of Eminem’s bodyguards told the man to be quiet. Miad says he then asked the bodyguard to ease up on the star struck man in the restroom.
"Eminem got done and boom," Miad recounts. "He started swinging."
"I wasn’t even expecting it," Miad said Thursday. "I was just minding my own business, taking a leak."
Detroit police would like to hear Eminem’s side of the story and then they say they will present their case to the prosecutor’s office for possible charges.

Paris thinks she was stupid
Paris Hilton's former love, Rick Salomon made a fortune after releasing X-rated tape 'One Night in Paris' - which features the couple having full and oral sex - after they split. Paris admits she still finds the betrayal difficult to stomach.
She told Britain's Guardian newspaper: "I haven't seen it. He's a pig. He's disgusting. That was the most horrible thing somebody could do to you. I was just very young and I really loved him and I was a stupid little girl. So I've learned a lot from my mistakes."
It was rumoured that Paris was involved in making the tape public to make herself more famous and split the profits.
But Paris has denied the claims, saying: "I didn't receive one dollar. I was going to sue but that meant I'd be in court for a whole year. So I said, 'I've just got to take this as a lesson in life. Don't ever trust anyone again like that, move on, and just forget about it'.'"
After the video became public, Paris started her own reality TV show 'The Simple Life' and launched herself as a brand, now earning over $6 million a year.

Angelina does Kung Fu

Tigress in Kung Fu Panda
Angelina Jolie has signed on to voice the character "Tigress" in Kung Fu Panda, the DreamWorks project with Jack Black voicing the title character.
Jolie joins Black, Lucy Lui, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan and Ian McShane in providing voiceover work for the film. Jolie's Tigress will be one of a "furious five" who help train Black's panda to master martial arts. The plot is somewhat similar to Chris Farley's criminally unfunny Beverly Hills Ninja but with a panda instead of a fat guy. DreamWorks, who released Over The Hedge earlier this summer, has Shrek 3 set for 2007 with Panda scheduled for May 2008. Jolie's commitment to Panda is her first project since giving birth to her daughter with Brad Pitt.

Where is baby Suri Cruise?

Speculation has been rampant about why the public, and even some of Cruise’s close friends, reportedly haven’t seen baby Suri yet.
Rick Ross of Cultnews.com tells The Scoop that devout Scientologist Cruise and his convert sweetie Katie Holmes may be following the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard — who advised against exposing young children to noise.
“A negative experience coupled with noise can create what Scientologists call an engram — which leads to recurring negative reactions,” Ross explains. “That might include paparazzi, newspeople, or a clamorous crowd. The only way to remove engrams, Scientologists believe, is through the process they call auditing. When a Scientologist talks about ‘reaching clear’ — they’re talking about clearing engrams from your mind. Tom Cruise’s efforts to create a quiet cocoon around his daughter might be a precaution against engrams.”
Cruise, says Ross, seems increasingly influenced by the Scientology view of the universe.
“While on his worldwide promotion of ‘Mission Impossible III,’ I am told, his behavior was, in a word, paranoid,” says Ross. “He was obsessed about the purity of the air and at one point, he was convinced he was being followed and insisted on taking longer routes to places. He was also quite concerned about whether locks worked and had them checked. Scientologists are not only afraid of creating engrams, they’re also afraid of the effects of those around them who they call Suppressive Persons or SPs. It’s possible that Tom Cruise is being overcome by his Scientology training and that’s leading to a paranoid world view that is being reflected in his behavior with baby Suri.”

Jessica Simpson's mother is in charge
When it comes to Jessica Simpson's public image, mother knows best!
Jessica's parents Joe and Tina squared off over whether to pull the plug on a sex-sational photo shoot of their shapely daughter. Mom won the battle.
Joe was all for the art director and photographer's vision of Jessica appearing in a classic layout once done by Kate Moss years ago.
It called for a very sultry, pouting Jessica to face the camera appearing in very tight short-shorts and bra. Standing behind her was a hunky shirtless model posed to look as if he were pulling on his pants. He wasn't baring anything, but it was pretty damn suggestive.
But just when the model started unbuttoning his pants for the photographer to begin snapping, Tina blurted out: 'Time out! Hold it! Nope. This isn't going to work.'
Tina said the pose was too risque and made Jessica look slutty. Joe was perplexed. He saw the setup in advance and had no problem. But when he tried to persuade Tina to change her mind, she'd have none of it.
Tina dug in her heels and said there was no way she'd allow Jess to appear in the layout the way it was designed.
She told Joe: 'I'm her mother. Trust me. This isn't the image we want.'
All Joe could do was shrug. After a few minutes the shot was reconfigured. The eventual layout still featured Jessica and the shirtless hunk. But this time his pants remained on."
Tina got her way, and showed Joe and everyone else who's the boss when it comes to Jess.

Baby boy for Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe and his wife Danielle Spencer have welcomed the birth of their second child.
Tenyson Spencer Crowe was born at 7.27am (AEST) today at Sydney's Royal North Shore hospital, weighing eight pounds (3.6 kg).
This is the couple's second child and a brother for their firstborn, two-year-old Charlie.
"Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well," said Crowe's Australian manager, Grant Vandenberg.
Once known for his wild ways and "that phone throwing incident" of June 2005, the talented New Zealand-born Crowe has settled down since marrying Spencer in April 2003.
He is also relishing fatherhood, admitting his life changed instantly when Charlie came along.
"From the moment he arrived, my perspective just changed, my priorities changed," he told Entertainment Tonight in May last year.
"I'm very involved in being a dad."
It's the little things that count, Crowe says.
"My days, if they start in the morning with a cuddle from my son, are just so much more glorious than they were prior to that," he said.
The 42-year-old is currently filming crime drama Tenderness and is tipped to play Ben Wade in a remake of the 1950s western classic 3:10 to Yuma – a role made famous by legendary actor Glenn Ford.

Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley sped up their wedding plans
Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are getting hitched soon. Earlier reports had suggested the wedding would take place Aug 26, but media scrutiny apparently spurred the couple to move up the date.
Friends and family of the pair were reportedly notified days ago of the plan and told to book their tickets immediately for Santa Barbara, where the Canadian rockers have a house together.
Lavigne's publicist Sean Cordner would not confirm the reports.
"I cannot comment on the personal lives of our artists,'' said Cordner.
The Insider website reports that Lavigne's bridal shower was last Friday. The racy gifts were said to include a sexy red bra, a thong and some handcuffs.
Other reports suggest wild days may soon be over for the Complicated songstress and her party boy fiance Whibley, once linked to Paris Hilton.
Lavigne, 21, of Napanee, Ont., and Whibley, 26, of Toronto, are said to have put a nursery in their home.

Heather Mills will settle for £10 million
Heather Mills will allegedly settle for a £10 million divorce pay-out despite the fact she reportedly could have battled for as much as £200 million.
A friend of Heather's told Britain's The People newspaper: "Heather is satisfied with the £10 million deal being discussed.
"She was only too aware that she could have gone into battle for a lot more. But she is still devastated over the break-up and is not in any mood for a bitter legal row."
The friend added: "She has no intention of putting up a fight. She is far too upset to even think about going down that road."
Heather also hopes to keep the split amicable for the sake of the couple's two-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
The pal revealed: "Heather and Paul have been in regular contact since they split up in May.
"They have constantly reminded each other that Bea should always remain their number one priority throughout the finalisation of their divorce."

Hilary Duff is not "puffing up"

Hilary Duff was annoyed when a magazine published a picture of her and claimed that she was "puffing up."
"I was in Canada filming The Perfect Man and I put on this outfit that I thought was really cute and creative: jeans, a tank top and a scarf tied around my waist.
"It was windy and the scarf was blowing away from me. At the time I wasn't skinny, but I wasn't fat either, and this magazine comes out saying, 'Hilary Duff Puffs Up'. I was so embarrassed!"
The star returned to Los Angeles and took up pilates with sister Haylie and got into the best shape of her life. She says the same magazine that accused her of puffing up then ran a story titled 'Oh, No! Now Hilary's a Stick Figure!' Duff adds, "You can never make those people happy, so you just have to make yourself happy!"
