Lindsay Lohan and Adrien Brody speechless

Both Lindsay Lohan and Adrien Brody have said yes to star in the indie romantic comedy "Speechless." Directed by Helmer Brian Dannelly, the story tells of an introverted man (Brody) who is invited to give a speech at his childhood friend's wedding and turns to a service that allows someone (Lohan) to speak through him. I personally can't see how Lindsay and Adrien would fit into a film together. But then again, everyone loves Lindsay, right? ;)

Wentworth Miller in The Ellen DeGeneres Show
Wentworth of Prison Break fame was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday morning. He spoke about his allergies and previous jobs prior to PB. A humble and soft-spoken man and made in England too!

German Report
Secretary: Why are these reports formatted so weird?
Boss: Well, because the Germans made them. Those Germans are weird.
Secretary: Hey, now... Be careful, I'm German.
Boss: Uh oh, you're not a lesbian too, are you?
Secretary: Well, I'm not really German.

Campari Commercial
This Campari Commercial in the UK is a finalist for the 2005 Epica award. I thought the man look a little Japanese at first. It just goes to show that you can't tell people by their appearance these days. A very creative one indeed.

Ellen in Diva
I guess I need to head down to the nearest bookstore to get a copy of the Diva Magazine. Hopefully it will have some good pictures in it. Anyone see it already? Here's some excerpt from the official site.
‘She likes them blonde, beautiful, younger and famous. I think she likes to play Daddy,’ said Whitmire, tongue-in-cheek. She certainly wouldn’t be getting the same acceptance in the mainstream if her girlfriend was a big bulldyke.
‘Times have changed and Ellen’s changed. It's a combination. And America loves to forgive people – they love an underdog comeback story,’ explains Sarah Warn, editor of Seattle-based lesbian website Afterellen.com.

Michael and Sara - Prison Break Ep 19

It appears that episode 19 that was showed on Monday is similar to the leaked version of episode 18 found on the internet. So those who had watched the leaked version might have missed out on one episode, i.e. the real episode 18 and skipped straight right to 19. Oh well. I always thought that the show was somehow more interesting when you have to wait for a week.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi out shopping
I'm a fan of Ellen ever since watching Dory in Finding Nemo. Just keep swimming... just keep swimming...
She and Portia make such a cute couple.

A Prayer for Those Who Live Alone
I live alone, dear Lord, stay by my side,
In all my daily needs be Thou my guide,
Grant me good health, for that indeed, I pray, to carry on my work from day to day.
Keep me pure my mind, my thoughts, my every deed, let me be kind, unselfish in my neighbour's need.
Spare me from fire, from flood, malicious tongues, from thieves, from fear, and evil ones.
If sickness or an accident befall, then humbly, Lord, I pray, hear Thou my call, and when I'm feeling low, or in despair, lift up my heart and help me in my prayer.
I live alone, dear Lord, yet have no fear, because I feel Your Presence ever near.

The name 'Suri'
With lots of news regarding Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes baby girl Suri, it now turns out that the name Suri does not after all mean “Princess” in Hebrew.
According to Hebrew linguists, Suri has only two meanings - one is a person from Syria and the other "go away" when addressed to a female. Hebrew expert Jonathan Went says, "I think it's fair to say they have made a mistake here. There are variations of the way the Hebrew name for princess is spelt but I have never seen it this way." Suri can also be translated into a Hindi boy's name, and it also means "pointy nose" in some Indian dialects and "pickpocket" in Japanese.
Does anyone know what it means in other languages? Kinda amusing isn't it.

Happy Easter

When the earth sings with nature
and the sky above feels close enough to touch,
let us take time to give thanks and praise
for the precious miracle of life.
May the wonder that is Easter
fill your spirit with new hope,
and may the love it brings
wrap itself around your heart.
Blessings to you on Easter.

Do you find racist jokes funny?
From ‘Love Thy Neighbour’
Bill: You’ve been conditioned by your society. Eddie: Just a minute, what’s wrong with our society? Bill: It supports discrimination against black people. Eddie: No more than you do against us whites. Jill: Well have you ever seen a black MP? Eddie: No but I’ve never seen a white witch doctor either.
From ‘The Catherine Tate Show’
M: Gran, I’m going for a Chinese takeaway. Gran: Don’t do that, their faces make me feel sick.
From 'The Office'
David: The Royal Family are seating around the table at Christmas dinner. Camilla says, "Let's play 20 Questions." And she’s thinking of a black man’s cock so Harry asks, "Is it bigger than the bread bin?" Yes. Prince Charles questions, "Can I put it in my mouth?" Yes. The Queen blurts out, "Is it a black man's cock?"
By Ann Winterton in an after-dinner speech
There was an Englishman, a Cuban, a Japanese man and a Pakistani on a train. The Cuban throws a cigar out of the window, saying they are "ten-a-penny" in his country. The Japanese man throws a Nikon camera out, saying they are ten-a-penny in his country. Then the Englishman throws the Pakistani out the window.

Moments
When the night is silent
and it's just me and the lazy moon,
When the sun breaks free
and kisses my face
with morning light,
When I hear a favourite song,
read an inspring line,
laugh at something simple,
or learn something new,
I privately save the moments
until I can share them
again with you,
You are never further away than my heartbeat,
but I still miss you.

Jennifer Beals in Glaad Media Awards
I don't know if anyone remember Jennifer Beals of Flashdance but she's currently in Showtime's The L Word. She was honoured in the The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) award last year. She delivered quite a speech I tell ya.

An Old Irish Wish
May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your heart.
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you,
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His Love.
